Sr. Analyst - Data Services, Reporting Services

Position Summary

The Data Services organization is responsible for collecting, managing, transforming and stewarding a complex suite of business data to a broad array of stakeholders across the Coca-Cola system. The Reporting Services Senior Analyst will employ insatiable curiosity, creative analytical thinking, and unyielding resourcefulness to design, build and steward a variety of business analysis and scalable reporting products to his/her key stakeholders. The Sr. Analyst will also deliver strategic, consultative expertise as well as tactical support for Coca-Cola business data and reporting tools.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with assigned internal and external customers to understand their business routines, performance metrics, audience, and overall role in the Coca-Cola system
  • Interpret and refine reporting requirements, conduct investigative analysis, and provide recommendations and clarification based on expert knowledge of Coca-Cola data and the Data Services reporting suite
  • Build visually effective, sustainable, and robust reporting by leveraging a variety of front-end applications (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, MicroStrategy, etc.)
  • Apply analytical and mathematical concepts to provide customers with meaningful, accurate measurement of business metrics (trend, impact analysis, segmentation, change contribution, penetration, churn, etc.)
  • Simplify and automate new and existing data and reporting processes. Drive toward a goal of limited repetition and dynamic automation
  • Act as an extension of customers’ teams, anticipating needs and providing excellent service in analysis and reporting
  • Deliver reporting solutions and training content in a variety of formats, tailoring to a wide variety of communication styles, technical expertise, and business experience

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Continuously own the enhancement, adaptation, and design of your reporting solutions and documentation
  • Work with manager and peers to rationalize disparate reporting methodologies, standardize approach where it makes sense, and promote transparency, consistency, and accessibility of Coca-Cola system data
  • Leverage deep knowledge and expertise of reporting architecture, business logic, data relationships, reporting tools and features, and downstream dependencies to support and consult with IT, business stakeholders, and peer teams
  • Diligently comply with Coca-Cola data sharing principles by maintaining a complex data security model that is compliant, transparent, and frictionless for our users
  • Route customers to the correct team or contact by applying knowledge of roles and responsibilities, governance, business processes and system ownership
  • Efficiently navigate the Coca-Cola data ecosystem and reporting suite by investigating unknowns, documenting gaps, and making connections between the business and the data
  • Bring our data and tools to life by owning and continuously improving a holistic, organized repository of visual documentation. Identify patterns in users’ requests and take initiative to establish new processes, documentation, or trainings that efficiently address common needs

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role (3-5 preferred)


  • Articulate, precise communication of complex, technical, or data-oriented content
  • Foundational knowledge of relational data principles
  • Proficient in SQL query structure including joins and aggregations
  • Mastery of Excel. Expertise with multiple data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy, etc.)
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and syntax
