Sr. Manager, HR Operations Support

Job Description/Objectives:                     

The Senior Manager - HR Operations Support role is responsible for providing holistic business process expertise, process improvement strategies, process discipline, and budget compliance.  Ideal candidate will have a proven history of challenging status quo, streamlining process, and leadership skills.  The role will support all external client bottlers and CCBSS internal operation for the below listed services:

  • Contact Center
  • HR Master Data
  • Business Process/Maintaining HR systems/System support
  • Payroll tax & filings               

In addition, the role will be required to effectively identify, champion, influence, and execute against strategic and optimization initiatives in the above areas to support go forward strategies including:

  • Continual, ongoing identification & implementation of business process opportunities
  • Analysis of internal control points and effectiveness.  Provide additional control points as needed. Special emphasis on mitigating and/or eliminating manual workaround risks
  • Lead special projects to obtain maximum efficiency
  • Ability to create business cases supporting change
  • Lead collaboration opportunities with critical stakeholders including HR Services, external bottlers, and CONA
  • Leadership and guidance to team members


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Relationship development and maintenance across multiple bottlers for areas of responsibility
  • Provides strategic advice and recommendations to leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures within the specified functional area of focus
  • Frequent interaction with external client bottler executive HR team members, Chief Financial Officers, Controllers
  • Regular interaction with internal CCBSS executive level leadership including VP Human Resources
  • Manage and execution of HR Contact Center duties including:
  • Optimal staffing and scheduling
  • Training
  • Workflow optimization
  • System optimization
  • Manage and execution of HR Master Data duties including:
  • Optimizing self service capability with bottlers
  • Leveraging external technology (including robotics) to automate residual manual work
  • Communication point with local and state payroll taxing authorities
  • Ensure timely and accurate Payroll Tax return preparation and filings in complex taxing jurisdictions
  • Provide leadership, oversight and guidance to a total team of 26
    • 7 direct; 19 indirect
  • Assisting support with third party vendor relationship management including ADP, SalesForce, Spinsci
  • Provide system expertise in Employee Central, Salesforce and CONA system for areas of responsibility
  • Effective and consistent internal control management.  Significant emphasis placed on control environment and mitigating manual risk
  • Responsible for:
    • Oversight and resolution of approximately 120,000 created cases per year across all bottlers (via email, phone and chatbot)
    • ~540 payroll tax returns prepared, processed, and filed annually                                         



  • Bachelor's degree required and at least 5+ years of experience.

  • Preferred: Previous bottling industry experience; payroll statutory compliance experience
